I want to know more about what the religion buildings mean to you and how your two categories tie together.

Looks nice!

The two religion buildings are my background, I grew up Catholic and was baptized into the Mormon relgion 7 years ago. As of right now the two categories tie together because of my emotions.

Frances,

Apart from your personal history the Breckeridge Condo does not strike me as a special building that does some things better than you average condo. But I am more interested in the "small town" feel that you mention. Please elaborate what you mean specifically and why it is important to you.

The religion entry is a little to generic distill a specific meaning from it. What is it about churches that makes them meaningful? You seem to point at a certain monumentality that signifies the public importance of the institutions, but there is also an "inward" quality that I find compelling: the use of light, color and space to create an atmosphere that is condusive to prayer and celebration. Of course churches interiors differ from dark, mystic medieval spaces to the light filled baroque and.... Which ones do you find more meaningful or appealing? Or is it only about a mighty public image?

I just went on this little excursion to encourage you to be more specific. If you want to design architecture that is meaningful to you, this added detail will be helpful in the process of realizing that goal.
